It’s been a whirlwind couple of weeks for newcomer, Trevon Pickett, who was recently selected as the 32nd overall pick in the NBA draft. But it seems that reality is starting to sink in now that he’s gotten the opportunity to meet seasoned players like Jamal Murray. “I can’t help but feel a bit overwhelmed by this experience,” said Pickett.
Throughout his time in the summer league, Pickett has already begun to carve out his role on the team. His natural versatility as a player has made him an excellent asset for setting up teammates and getting the chemistry right to ensure a successful outing. “This is such an important part of my journey”, he explains. “Everything I’m doing now is helping me get closer to where I want to be – and I’m loving every step of the way.”
