Two men, aged 15 and 23, have been killed in a shocking double stabbing incident in north London. Police were called to the scene on Elthorne Road in Archway at approximately 11:30PM Thursday; when they arrived, they found 28-year-old man with stab wounds that are not life-threatening.
The families of the victims have been informed of this tragedy, but no arrests have yet been made. Community tension is high and the Met Police have put an additional Section 60 order into effect, allowing for additional stop-and-search powers.
Chief Superintendent Andy Carter expressed his condolences to the families who have endured this unimaginable loss, as well as his assurance that heightened police presence would be provided in the area. He stated: “A man and boy have lost their lives and we must now work together to identify those responsible and remove them from our streets.”
